Awarded annually to one female student athlete and one male athlete proceeding from one year to the next in an arts or social sciences program. The recipient must have a minimum GPA of 7.0 and represent Carleton University on an Ontario University Athletics (OUA) or Canadian Interuniversity Sport (CIS) sport team. The selection will be made upon the recommendation of the Athletics Awards Committee. Endowed in 1993 by family, friends and former team mates of Constable Joseph MacDonald (BA/88). Constable MacDonald was a four-year member of the Ravens football team. Revised 2004.
