Awarded annually, alternately to an undergraduate or graduate student studying labour or related issues and to a graduate student in a Psychology program. The scholarship was established in memory of Bill Jones to recognize the outstanding contribution he made to Carleton University and the academic community as a teacher, scholar, Chair of the Department of Psychology, Carleton University Academic Staff Association (CUASA) negotiator, OCUFA President, and Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences.
