Awarded annually by the Dean of Graduate and Postdoctoral Affairs to outstanding graduate students entering or continuing in any graduate program at Carleton University whose academic work is focused on the area of women’s studies. Recipients will be chosen by the awards committee of the Faculty of Graduate and Postdoctoral Affairs from a list of candidates recommended by each department.  Endowed in 1985 to honour of Maureen O’Neil, Coordinator, Status of Women Canada.
